Brief information

Jorge Velilla has a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the Faculty of Science, a Master's Degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zaragoza, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Zaragoza. Jorge Velilla is an Associate Professor at the University of Zaragoza. He has been Assistant Professor at the University of La Rioja and the University of Zaragoza, and Visiting Scholar at Columbia University. Jorge Velilla has completed his formal education with specialization courses in different institutions, as Columbia University, Stanford University, Georgia State University, or the London School of Economics. His main areas of research are Transport Economics and Household Economics, with special emphasis on time use, commuting behaviors, and intrahousehold issues. He has published his research in international journals, such as The Journal of Transport Geography, Transport Policy, Economic Modelling, The Journal of Regional Science, or The Journal of Happiness Studies.
