There may be openings for talented and motivated researchers to join our group. Please do not hesitate to contact Justin, particularly for enquires regarding the graduate/PhD program in our group, for more details, or if you have any questions!
Postdoctoral scientist/research fellows:
Strong candidates from varied backgrounds are encouraged to contact the principal investigator (see below) for more information. Singapore has a particularly vibrant effort in two-dimensional materials, magnetic systems, and optics of new quantum materials providing an excellent environment for exciting interactions between theory and experiment. Please contact Justin (see below) for details.
PhD students:
We are currently actively interested in recruiting PhD students for our group for a position in condensed matter theory opening in our group as soon as possible to start in January 2026 or August 2026. Areas of interest include quantum dynamics and light-matter interaction in topological matter, strongly out-of-equilibrium systems and phases, and correlations in low-dimensional electronic systems and moiré matter.
Undergraduate student opportunities:
Our group also has openings for undergraduate students internships during the summer for students currently enrolled in Singapore-based universities only. It may also be possible to intern with us during the rest of the academic year for students at the Nanyang Technological University. Please contact Justin for details.
