Dr. Jun Zhu is a clinical associate professor of finance and director of the Finance Diversity Program at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington. She is also a nonresident fellow in the Housing Finance Policy Center at the Urban Institute. She teaches real estate and corporate finance courses. Her research interests are the mortgage market, housing policy, and real estate finance.
Before her appointment at Indiana University, she was a principal research associate at the Urban Institute. Before joining Urban, Zhu was a senior economist in the Office of the Chief Economist at Freddie Mac, where she conducted research on mortgage and housing issues. While at Freddie Mac, she was also a consultant to the US Department of the Treasury.
She holds a PhD in business administration from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is a real estate faculty fellow at the Kelley School of Business.
