Jullienor is your kitchen companion that will allow you to save on your overall cooking time. The name 'Jullienor' is derived from 'julienning' which is a knife cut in which ingredients are cut into long thin strips (see picture below). Jullienor is able to take an user's choice of ingredients and chop them as required. Thus, making the chef's life, easy!

At the time of its first implementation we also integrated behaviors like fall edge detection so that it doesn't fall off a tabletop. Obstacle avoidance was added keeping in mind a dystopian future wherein modularized robots don't crash into each other in our kitchens whilst taking care of the dishes we have wished for from our beds.

The average person eats 3-4 meals a day and is therefore involved in either elaborate meal preps or daily cooking which causes the expenditure of a considerable amount of time and energy consistently. Meal preps can sometime mean the same old recipe and cooking everyday can take an hour or two everyday depending on what needs to be cooked. Healthy and tasty food seems to come at a cost either in terms of time or money if you were willing to spend on good quality restaurant food or any other food service.

Autonomous cooking doesn't just bear the promise of making everyday eating healthy but can preserve consistency in taste too. One of the fundamental reasons why we like a particular dish has a lot to do with consistency.
Autonomous chopping of vegetables is one step in this direction, wherein we can get the right measure of ingredients ready to go into our favorite curry or salad. With Jullienor by your side you can embrace hassle free and efficient cooking while making healthier meal choices.
