Julie Wronski

Assistant Professor of Political Science

University of Mississippi

Welcome! I am a Political Scientist whose research lies at the intersection of American Politics and Political Psychology. Using survey, experimental, and quantitative research methods, I explore the ways in which group identities and personal dispositions shape political behavior, public opinion, and vote choice.

My research has been published in the Journal of Politics, Political Psychology, and Political Behavior, among other peer-reviewed outlets. My recent work on partisan sorting and identity politics has been featured in the New York Times, The Economist, the Washington Post, and Vox.com.

I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Mississippi. Prior to this position, I was a Postdoctoral Scientist at The George Washington University's School of Media and Public Affairs. I received my PhD in 2014 from the Department of Political Science at Stony Brook University.
