I am a researcher at RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research and a professor at the University of Duisburg-Essen. I am affiliated with the IZA – Institute of Labor Economics and the ROCKWOOL Foundation Berlin.

My main research interest is in applied economics, with a particular focus on labor, migration, and education economics.
