"My children were with me on my very first visit to Holden in 1990. We sat in the back of the bus and observed a blind man tapping his cane as he came near. 'Watch out!', my daughter yelled as he almost ran into the bus, but then successfully made his way ……. to the drivers seat, advising people to close their eyes if the switchbacks bothered them!"
