My research focuses on how social policy and individual behavior explain differences in human development, skills formation, and health outcomes. My doctoral research focused on the role of comprehensive support systems in skills formation in the first years of life and its consequences in the long run
Currently, I am postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Populatin Health in the NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
Previously my Ph.D., I worked as a consultant for The World Bank in the Department of Sustainable Development for South Asia and the Global Water Practice.
I hold a Ph.D. in Policy Studies from the University of Maryland - College Park. I also hold a B.A. and M.A. in Economics for the Universidad de Chile (Chile) and an M.A in Economics from the University of Maryland.
