Dr. habil. Jer-Shing Huang is currently the head of the Research Department of Nanooptics at the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology (Leibniz IPHT) in Jena (Germany). He is also a Principal Investigator at the Abbe School of Photonics and a Privatdozent at the Institute of Physical Chemistry at Friedrich-Schiller Universität Jena.
Dr. Huang also holds adjunct positions at the Department of Electrophysics at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NCTU) and the Research Center for Applied Sciences (RCAS) of Academia Sinica in Taiwan

Kel-Meng See received the RTC 1640 Fellowship from Bayreuth University and will stay in Prof. Markus Lippitz's group for collaboration project on directional nonlinear nano photon source.

J.-S. Huang, Kel-Meng See and Z.-H. Huang attended Nanophotonics in Asia 2015. J.-S. Huang gave an invited talk on plasmonic Doppler grating. K.-M. See and Z.-H. Huang presented posters on directional photo-luminescence and elliptical nanohole optical trap, respectively. Master student Kel-Meng See received the "Best Poster Award".

Jer-Shing Huang, Fan-Cheng Lin, Kel-Meng See and Zi-Huan Huang visited Prof. Dr. Bert Hecht's group in the Department of Experimental Physics V at Würzburg University. Kel-Meng See gave a talk on his Plasmonic Asymmetric Annulus Resonator (PAAR) work. PhD student S. Grossmann from the Hecht Group gave detailed introduction to their recent progress. Group lunch and afternoon Coffee with exciting discussion highlighted the visit.
黃哲勳、林範誠、徐凱明與黃子桓一同前往符茲堡大學實驗物理系Prof. Dr. Bert Hecht實驗室參觀。徐凱明同學並於實驗室會議中，發表關於PAAR的工作。此行在物理系也參觀了1901年第一屆諾貝爾物理獎得主倫琴(X光發現者)的紀念文物。
