Welcome to Jean-Remy Hochmann's Homepage!

I received a PhD from SISSA in Trieste, Italy, where I studied under the supervision of Jacques Mehler in the Language, Cognition and Development Lab. After two years as a Marie Curie postdoc in the Laboratory for Developmental Studies at Harvard University, and one year in the Laboratoire de Sciences Cognitives et Psycholinguistique à l'ENS, Paris, I am now working as a CNRS researcher at the Institut des Sciences Cognitives Marc Jeannerod in Lyon.

My research mainly focuses on the developmental origins of human-unique abilities such as language and logic. U
sing eye-tracking paradigms, I study cognitive development and speech processing in infants.
