Where: Currently faculty staff for LUT School of Energy Systems. Used to be in the Laboratory of Production Engineering of Department of Mechanical Engineering, part of the School of Energy Systems of Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology LUT.
When: Associate professor since February 2019. (Research Assistant from September 2007 to December 2008, Researcher in 2009, Research Engineer in 2010, Junior Researcher 2011 - June 2015, Post doc July 2015 to January 2019.) Master of Science (Technology) or Finnish diplom engineer December 2008 in Information Technology, Doctor of Science (technology) June 2015 in Mechanical Engineering.
Why: Back in the day, the Laboratory of Production Engineering was looking for a MATLAB programmer. I also do modelling, optimization, fuzzy logic and fuzzy sets. Along with a few other things.

Hobbies: I do coach swimmers at one of the local swimming clubs and occasionally try to swim myself, as well. When I get some time for myself on dry land, I practice taijiquan. On top, I try to set aside some time for reading and playing some computer games.
