Teaching

I have served as a Graduate Student Instructor (GSI, or teaching assistant) at the University of Michigan for four semesters, teaching Intermediate Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, Principals of Microeconomics, and Financial Economics for one semester each. I twice received a top GSI award from the Economics department for being among the top ten GSIs in the department for my teaching work in Intermediate Macroeconomics and Intermediate Microeconomics. Typically, the economics department employs around 65 GSIs per semester.

Additionally, I have served two semesters as the instructor of record for Principles of Macroeconomics.

A statement of my teaching philosophy with a summary of my teaching evaluations is here. Examples of the handouts I prepared for my classes while teaching Intermediate Macroeconomics are here.
