For the 2018-2019 Academic Year, I am currently assigned to help instruct the following courses:
Level 3 - ESO: Advanced English
Level 4 - ESO: General English
Level 4 - ESO: Advanced English
Level 1 - B: Basic English
Level 1 - B: Advanced English
Level 1 - B: (Excelencia) Advanced-Placement English
Notably, these classes vary from Basic to Advanced English. The learning objectives consist of students communicating in all 4 language modes: Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening; although, for a majority of the classes, the school has emphasized that language assistants are most useful when they practice speaking with students. Each year, English courses are scaffolded, so that students become better prepared for the Cambridge Language Proficiency Exam. Normally, most students at I.E.S. Diego Velazquez take the Cambridge Exam after Level 4 of ESO.
