I was born in Austin, Texas and raised in Boxborough, Massachusetts. I enjoy playing all sorts of sports along with hiking and camping. I was on the wrestling team and was a two year captain of the team. I graduated Acton-Boxborough Regional High School in 2010 and enrolled in Brigham Young University the following fall. In the summer of 2011, I served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Southern California where I learned to speak Spanish fluently.
I returned to Brigham Young University in the fall of 2013. I helped found the Brigham Young Wrestling team at that time along with my studies and other responsibilities in which I competed throughout the rest of my schooling. In April 2016, I graduated with a degree in economics and statistics with a math minor. I went on to get a PhD at Boston College in economics. My focus was in micro-econometrics and specifically focused on estimating heterogeneity in consumer demand. I graduated with my PhD in May 2020 and began my work as an Economist at Amazon where I work on the Pricing Research team.
