In cooperation with public and private entities (Technological Institute of the Canary Islands (ITC), Singular Factory and IGO Software, Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Government of Spain, etc):

CAVACAN Project. "El Hierro Virtual". Development of an application that allows  virtually flying over El Hierro Island (Canary Islands), showing the building structures of a hydroelectric power station that is in construction. Input data consisted of (i) Aerial photos at 1:5.000 scale of the island surface (1 m2 each pixel), (ii) Height map of the island, with a value each 10 meters and (ii) Planes and designs of buildings and structures of the power station (including one new harbour).

Capaware! is a framework for developing 3D multilayer geographical worlds. Developed in C++, allows connection to external servers using OGC protocol to obtain data. Capaware! integrates within GPL free software components for its implementation. Joint project by the echnological Institute of the Canary Islands (ITC), University of Las Palmasde Gran Canaria and InventiaPlus. Funding by the Technological Institute of the Canary Islands (ITC). Geviemer is a plugin product over Capaware. Is a wildfire forecasting application based on a 3D

virtual environment and a fire simulation engine.This plug-in makes use of a Web Service that encapsulates open-source Core FARSITE as a kernel-based wildfire simulator. The fire visualization is based on two particle systems to model separately the flame and the smoke. In cooperation with the Technological Institute of the Canary Islands (ITC). Glob3 Mobile is an open source 3D multiplattform virtual globe engine, running in mobile devices (Android and Apple) and in HTML5 web browsers. In this first version, it allows to connect to any OGC WMS public layer, and show it on the globe.

Glob3 Mobile is also a framework for virtual globe development. It allows to write plugins directly in Javascript, and these plugins can run in the three plattforms (Android / Apple / web browsers). IGO Sotware Firm. Visit www.glob3mobile.com

EPIGRAPHIA 3D.- Through the Spanish National Grant FECYT - FCT-13-6025  "Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad " entitled "Decryption Roman inscriptions in 3D in the National Archaeological Museum of Madrid" we developed a 3D digital Catalogue with 43 Roman inscriptions (ancient stone). The works comprised a precisely data acquisition within the National Museum. More than 3000 thousands pictures were taked with high resolution cameras.  Processing and 3D modeling consisted in using the  Structure from Motion (SfM) technique, accomplishing a searching process of the three-dimensional structure of a 3D object by analyzing the motion information or signals through a temporary variable. SmartPort offers a rich-internet application that allows the user to visualize and manage the different sources of information of a port environment. The “Big Data” management is based on the FI-WARE tools and architecture, as well as “The Internet of Things” solutions for the data acquisition. At the same time, the Glob3 Mobile SDK for the development of map apps will support the 3D visualization of the ports scenery and its data sources.

ECOLANDIA Gran Canaria is the first game where users play for recycling and contributing to save the planet. Multiplatform and developed in UNITY, the game is a novel game where the game itself is not for gaining money, prizes or lifes, instead, it is a game for improving our Nature Environment by recycling human trash and saving native animal species in Gran Canaria. The main partnership of the project is ECOEMBES.
