Culex quinquefasciatus eggs for microinjection

Today I decided to post some photos of Culex quinquefasciatus eggs that are lined up and ready for microinjection. The eggs in the photos are actually a little bit old for microinjection (they are a couple of hours old, hence their dark colour), but that makes them easier to see in photographs, and conveys the general idea. You can see from the photos that the eggs are lined up anterior to posterior, along a piece of filter paper.
