JoKasha's approach is a holistic, transpersonal one. She has been a meditator since 1971, has practiced Kundalini yoga for 25 years, and believes in the integrative approach involving body, mind, and spirit.

David Grove Method

JoKasha has had advanced certification in the David Grove method, having practiced this type of metaphor therapy since 1987. This method was developed by David Grove, who was originally from New Zealand and taught his method throughout the United States and other countries. This method employs “clean Language” which enables the client to quickly locate the source of the current discomfort. Using metaphors which the client elicits, the origin of the difficulty is both revealed and quickly resolved. This is done in the midst of a naturally occurring (not therapist induced) trance state.

This method has been repeatedly shown to restore a sense of well being and wholeness. Some clients have referred to their results as soul retrieval.

In addition JoKasha is also skilled in Gestalt Dreamwork and EFT, in addition to conventional therapy.
