I was born in Buffalo, NY. I spent my first 18 years there learning about winter and how to repeatedly make it to the Superbowl without winning. From 5th to 12th grade I attended Nichols.
To me, Buffalo still has the best apple picking, the freshest autumns, and the most beautiful winter snowfalls. I can't decide whether I'm more loyal to The Anchor Bar or Duffs, but I'll always be true to Wegmans.
Next, I moved to Cambridge, MA to attend college at MIT. MIT is a special place with lots of special folks.
While there I took way too many classes here and here, read way too much, joined this interesting group, rollerbladed almost everywhere, designed some hacks, and worked on biophysics and robotics. Although photo evidence is scarce, I briefly became blonde.
After college and some international backpacking, I drove west to Los Angeles, CA ending up at Caltech. While there I learned how to juggle, picked up CrossFit, and started titling my slides with active sentences. I also became a doctor, although not the type my mom originally hoped for.
As a confirmed Angelino, I now enjoy LA's wonderfully diverse cuisine and spend weekend mornings driving my roadster and beach swimming just beyond the surfer line-up (May - Oct only). I also hang my sunglasses from my shirt year round and shamelessly reach for a sweater if it drops below 65F.
