She composed for the Arts Council funded Breathe project at The Royal Brompton Hospital with the Singing for Breathing group and artist Jayne Wilton

Joanna was commissioned to write and arrange the music for The Last Women, a powerful interpretation of the stories of condemned women, which premiered at The Belgrade Theatre Coventry in April 2009.  

The play explores descent and death through the interpretation of true accounts of women’s executions.
