Stereocaulon vesuvianum and a botanist, by Eulàlia Pladevall
I am associate professor at the Department of Evolutionary Biology, Ecology and Environmental Sciences (and currently head of the Botany and Mycology section) of the University of Barcelona, and a member of the Biodiversity Research Institute (IRBio), the Documentation Center for Plant Biodiversity (CeDocBiV), and the Food Action and Research Observatory (FARO).
I am a botanist, though my research interests are rather broad and file better under terrestrial ecology and agroecology. My research is tightly linked to the activity of the Agroecosystems Research Group, but I keep a broad spectrum of collaborations.
