Jill Mason Simonson

I graduated from Utah State University in May, 2010, with a Masters of Education in Educational Technology and Learning Science, Distance Education emphasis, with a 3.97 GPA.

My experience in the field of education is diverse, including teaching at a college prep academy on the east coast, college-level instruction, English education in South Korea and public education in Montana and Utah.

Acquiring my MEd from Utah State University has broadened my understanding of my field and has allowed me to explore multiple styles of teaching in my own classroom. I am much more aware of the importance of recognizing my students as individual learners who have unique styles of assimilating information. I have learned to use multiple modes of delivery in my traditional classroom as well. My students have responded very well to the variety, and I intend to continue to grow and explore in these areas as I advance in my education career.

I am interested in utilizing my degree, as well as prior experience, to teach high school and college courses. I am also accepting contract instructional design positions.
