Raised in Vacaville, CA, Jonathan loved everything from from legos to ice skating. And while his academics and interests only broadened as he grew, music emerged as his one constant love. Ranging from violin lessons when he was only four to playing electric guitar and singing in his high school cover band "Jukebox," Jonathan had a diverse musical experience growing up encompassing everything from classical training, to production and engineering, to worship leading.

Jonathan continued to pursue this love of music when he went to Azusa Pacific University, where he soon earned the nickname "J.Lord." He also began learning the sweetest harmony that would ever accompany his life...Jasmine! While studying Music with emphases in Arranging and Audio recording, his natural musicianship and work ethic opened up numerous opportunities for him, including student teaching, performing in several instrumental and choral ensembles, and composing & conducting for some of the University's choirs. After graduation, he pursued his Masters of Music in Choral Conducting on full scholarship while freelancing.

Soon after graduation, he put his technical and musical expertise to use and acquired a full-time job as a Computer Technician and Media Specialist at Azusa Pacific, where he currently works. When he's not working or making music, Jonathan enjoys eating good food, doing yoga, and getting a little too addicted to video games.
