His research interests include Algorithm Design, AutoML, Computational Geometry, Combinatorial Optimization, Graph Theory and Electronic Design Automation (EDA).

He was a Senior Principal Software Engineer and Tech Lead at the renowned team of Innnovus of Cadence Design Systems.

He obtained the PhD degree in computer science and engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (香港中文大學) in 2016 and the bachelor degree in software engineering from Sun Yat-Sen University in 2012 (with the honor of excellent graduate).
