Studio Information

1. What ages do you teach?

I currently accept students ages eight through adult.

2. What levels do you teach?

I teach beginning to advanced viola, and beginning to intermediate violin.

3. What are your rates?

4. How are lessons scheduled?

Lessons can be scheduled by phone, e-mail, or in person, and are given on a weekly basis. While it is preferable students maintain a reserved weekly time for consistency, I can be flexible with shifting schedules.

5. Where are lessons held?

Studio lessons are given at my home studio in Etna, NY (located between Ithaca and Dryden). Ithaca lessons are given at Hickeys Music Center in Ithaca, NY.

6. What do lessons entail? 

Private lessons are tailored to the unique needs of the student. Lessons are designed to develop technique of the instrument in addition to encouragement of musicianship, imagination, and appreciation of the art.
