"Whenever a goal is reached, the yearning moves on; hence its object is not the goal, but the very attainment of it – the gradient, not the absolute height, of the curve representing one’s life." - P. W. Zapffe

Welcome to my web page!

From September 2022 I am an associate professor (Hungarian: "egyetemi docens") at the Department of Analysis and Operations Research (formerly Department of Differential Equations) of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Budapesti Műszaki és Gazdaságtudományi Egyetem). From April 2023 I am also a part time Senior Research Fellow ("tudományos főmunkatárs") at the HUN-REN Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics.

Between October 2018 and August 2022 I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Leipzig University in the research group of Prof. László Székelyhidi Jr., working on the theory of turbulence in fluid mechanics.

I completed my PhD on the 28th of September 2018 at Université Paris-Dauphine under the direction of Prof. Olivier Glass and Prof. Franck Sueur (Univ. Bordeaux), entitled "Control issues for some fluid-solid models".
