Hello! I'm a Lecturer in Korean at Boston University.

As a Korean teacher, I want my students to have knowledge of the Korean language and culture and apply this knowledge in real life by using Korean outside of the classroom. To achieve this goal, I create an interactive, pleasant, and comfortable learning environment where students are encouraged to talk and practice Korean. I utilize pop culture and real-life scenarios to encourage their conversational growth.

I completed PhD and MA in Linguistics at the University of Kansas. My research interests are second language acquisition, psycholinguistics, and phonetics, especially focusing on second language learners’ speech perception and spoken word recognition.

Thank you for visiting!
