Greetings! My name is Jian Wang. I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biostatistics in The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
I earned my MS and PhD in Applied Mathematics from the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I also hold MS and BS in Management Sciences from Tianjin University in China.
My research mainly focuses on development and implementation of innovative statistical methods for cancer data analysis identifying disease-causing or disease-related risk factors. I am also working on development of risk models for cancer assessment and prediction.
