Homework & Related

This is a list of homework assignments, including exercises and special reading assignments. Check this site frequently for updates and/or new homework.

Note: For computational exercises involving the writing of code (such as a MATLAB m-file), you are required to turn in a copy of the code with your homework.

Note: There is a standing requirement every week that all students other than the presenter(s) are required to submit a comment or question to the TA about that week’s subject no later than 6:30PM on the Monday before class.

Note: The standard weekly reading assignments are given in the syllabus and are not generally listed below ("unusual" reading assignments will be listed below).

Note: Weekly speakers must be prepared to lead the class discussion by 1:30 PM on Tues.; speakers should arrive several minutes early to get set up. Speakers should follow advice given in "Guidelines for Roundtable Presentations" shown in week 1 (slides not posted at this site). The speaking schedule is to be provided in class.
