Step 5: Creating Graphics

This section applies to either modeling approach in the same way. The illustrations are for the Solver approach. The model (built either way) is now basically complete, but we can make it more useful by adding some geometry. Choose a section of the sheet to enter chart data, and start by setting up the coordinates of the budget constraint. Note that we can define the elements of the graphs from the elements of the model, thus ensuring that it will graph correctly when we change values. Hence, the X intercept is defined as B7/B5, and so on.
