Foundation Program Conference Committee: Organized an international conference for three consecutive years on English Language Teaching at the University of Qatar. In charge of hospitality for speakers and guests including transportation and tours.
Drama Society: Produced the first English language play in Qatar on the Blockade of Qatar. Worked with students to develop public speaking skills, improv, and other acting skills.
Academic Support Committee: Helped create surveys to monitor and assess the efficacy of the Onboarding Orientation program as well as measure acquisition of tools and skills needed to perform their job as FPDE lecturer. Used quantitative and qualitative data collected through surveys to offer advice to Facilitators in regard to the ongoing training needs of new faculty. Edited and updated the New Faculty Handbook (2016) and performed other administrative tasks.
Course Committees for ENGL 203, ENGL 203, ENGL 111 and ENGL 110: Created course materials and assessments for ENGL202. Attend meetings to calibrate marking for essays, quizzes, and final exam.

Academic Integrity Task Force: Coordinated the Academic Integrity Survey for all university students. Work on ways to improve ethical understanding at AUS. Conducted focus group with students, faculty, and administration. Worked on ways to improve ethical understanding at AUS.
DWS Hiring Committee: Short-listed qualified candidates for the Department of Writing Studies.
Blackboard’s Outcomes Assessment: Tested and gave feedback on potential new program for course assessment.
SBM Assessment Committee: Attended meetings, wrote and distributed a survey on writing as an assessment tool, and worked on a project with the Chair of Marketing and Management. Created a database with information from faculty portfolios on course assessment.
DWS Curriculum and Planning Committee: Revised course objectives, discussed methods of assessment, and agreed on new/potential textbooks for upcoming semesters.
Strategic Planning Committee: Contributed to developing department goals.
Writing 101 and 102 Committee: Attended and contributed to creating materials, uniformed outcomes, and ways of assessment.
