Jesse Anttila-Hughes

I am an Associate Professor in the University of San Francisco's Department of Economics.  I am on sabbatical until Fall of 2024.

My research asks economic, health, and social questions about our relationship with the environment, using methods and techniques from statistics and the physical sciences. Much of my work combines causal inference research designs from econometrics with machine learning and / or remote sensing data to better understand how the climate affects health and well being around the world.
