It is time Britain took a stand ~ by standing together to get our families healthy. 

So let's join hands NOW and do this!!!! 

 As a nation we are overweight & sick and tired of being sick and tired! Operations cancelled or not even booked because we are obese. Obesity causing other health issues like Diabetes, High Blood  Pressure and the like. Stress causing us to drink and smoke heavily, leading to liver and lung diseases. The list goes on and to much more serious diseases like cancer. We are dealing with recession, not enough work or even no work at all. Housing issues and debt problems. Families are no longer spending time together.  Everybody is out and about doing their own thing. Where are the days when we sat down to a meal together? Everybody eats   on their own ~ grabbing what they can fast, before they are off onto the next form of pastime or entertainment. Family time together is SO important! When we sit together and eat, we share the days ups and downs. It is about time we got back to basics, & start eating healthy foods. Proper home cooked meals. Seeing that all the family eat well. There should be no more eating of the fast foods on a regular basis. No more serving the "Ready Meals" of  which of course, we have no guarantee these days what they contain!!                     

                                  GET BACK into the kitchen and have FUN WITH FOOD!!

No good going on a diet.  They are boring~ some are unhealthy, some work and then you put the weight back on. It is   high time we all took responsibility of changing the way we eat. Do this as a family who cares about each other. Help each other make the right choices. Keep an eye out on what the others eat so we do not cheat!!!  Motivate & inspire each other. Give Mum the night off  & let Dad have a go, at what he thinks is a   healthy meal. Allow the children to learn to make the right choices & they can have a go as well.

Dream up a Fun Meal & see who cooks the best & at the same time offer a healthy version of what it used to be. Swop the bad foods for good. Drink more water,  less alcohol and toss those cigarettes out out the window!! Have a competition with menu planning weight loss and exercise! Do not go on a diet ~ but have FUN with FOOD and get a better family lifestyle

going ~  & support each other.  

Grow your own vegetables & I will show you how.  Get out & about together as a family for fresh air &  exercise. Sit down & discuss what exercises you can do for FREE. Take up walking, if you can not do it alone,  grab a friend or family member, if none around then take the dog & if no dog, look for a neighbor who has one, and offer to take the dog for a walk!!!!  Get back to caring  about your neighbors & local community. 

Don't leave off for tomorrow what you can start today  for a better future.  Be a healthy strong family that grows old together. If we do not start soon more & more of us will be saying hello to an early grave.
