I am an Assistant Professor of Religion in the Religion Department at Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT. My specializations are Hinduism, Islam in South Asia, global feminist theories, class formation, and ethnographic approaches to the study of religion. My broader research and teaching interests include South Asian religions, women in religion, globalization and religion, material cultures, and ethnographic research methods.
