Mr. Rempel is an environmental assessment and regulatory compliance management professional. He has managed environmental and regulatory requirements for pipelines, marine export terminals (LNG & crude oil), oil sands, base-metal mines, contaminated sites and waste management facilities. His interdisciplinary education and work experience over the past 20+ years have equipped him with an integrated understanding of biophysical, socio-economic and cultural elements in marine, freshwater and terrestrial environments.
Jeff has a keen ability to understand and manage interconnected safety, environment, engineering, land, aboriginal and stakeholder engagement, legal, economic and regulatory processes. He is an effective communicator, both as a scientist and to non-technical audiences.
