Welcome to Jeff and Chuck's Cabin
Our cabin is set among pine trees, sage and grasslands on just over 16 acres. Most of the land is steep, but there are many trails, a creek and a small waterfall for the adventurous to explore.
The property is accessed by key only, as this is a gated community. A 4x4 or all-wheel drive vehicle is required to drive down the driveway to the cabin. Standard 4x2 vehicles can drive to the top of the driveway only.
The cabin is completely off-grid, meaning there is no community water, power or sewer. There is a solar power system providing power for light and charging your cell phone. There is also a gravity fed, propane powered hot shower (not in winter) and a pit toilet. Winter conditions may effect available power.
There is a propane stove, pots, pans, plates, cutlery, and a basic gravity feed sink.
Please bring your own drinking water. Do NOT drink water from hose or storage container. In the winter, ALL water must be brought in. You can get dishwater by melting snow on the wood stove.
Wood fires are prohibited generally after June 1st due to dry conditions. Please be extra careful with any kind of fire.
In winter, the roads may be plowed or not, and may only be accessible by foot or snowmobile or ATV.
