Summary

I hold a PhD in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota. I did undergraduate and graduate studies in Economics at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogota.

I worked as ​a research assistant in Fedesarrollo between 2001 and 2005, in projects related to fiscal federalism in Colombia, computable general equilibrium analysis and macroeconomic forecasting.

In 2006, I joined the Research Department of the Inter-American Development Bank, where I worked on public finances and subjective well-being in Latin America.

In 2010, I began my doctoral studies with financial support from the Colombian Central Bank. I worked as a research assistant at the Center for Human Resources and Labor Studies, at the University of Minnesota, studying early childhood interventions.
