Master-Level Drum Set and Mallet Percussion Instruction

With over 31 years of performing and teaching experience and a BMU in Jazz Performance on Drum Set & Vibes, I help drum set, mallet keyboard, and piano students of all ages unlock their musical potential. Beyond my private home studio in Draper, I actively perform across Utah with the Utah Wind Symphony and Sally Bytheway Choral, as well as local jazz, rock, and Brazilian bands playing for corporate and private parties. My students range from beginners to accomplished young musicians who have advanced to prestigious institutions like Harvard and Berklee. I have taught students who have continued on with thriving careers in the music industry, including becoming educators themselves at the collegiate level. In addition to gigging and teaching private lessons, I'm also grateful to serve the Draper community as a percussion instructor at Draper Park Middle School and Corner Canyon High School.
