Jeremy Blackstone is an Assistant Professor at Howard University in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department. He received his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from University of California, San Diego in 2021 and received his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Systems and Computer Science at Howard University in 2014 and 2015. Jeremy Blackstone performs research at the intersection of security, artificial intelligence, robotics and human computer interaction. He works on projects developing solutions for side channel attack mitigation, ransomware mitigation, intrusion detection, vulnerability prediction modeling, hybrid network efficiency and security, and utilizing large language models for decision support in healthcare and tactical decision making. He serves as Principal Investigator for two projects in the Air Force Research Labs(AFRL) Research Institute on Tactical Autonomy(RITA) and two Amazon research awards, serves as Co-Principal Investigator for the Office on Naval Research Human Centered Artificial Intelligence Institute and Amazon Howard Robotics Initiative and has 18 peer reviewed publications and 2 book chapters.
