About Me

Mr. Jay Kant Pratap Singh Yadav is an Assistant Professor at Computer Science and Engineering Department of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad, India. His research interests broadly include Machine Learning and Image Processing. In addition, he is interested in other research areas where there is a need for Image processing with Machine Learning like Computer-Aid Diseases Diagnosis systems, Agricultural systems . A number of reputed national and international journals and conferences published his research articles. Mr. Jay Kant Pratap Singh Yadav has coordinated many workshops in the areas related to his research expertise. In addition, he regularly delivers exert talks related to his research interests at many institutes/universities. Currently, he is working on a research project, titled, “Automatic Cataract Detection and Grading using Convolution Neural Network”, funded under the Grant number AKTU/Dean-PGSR/VRPS-2020/5751 of Visvesvaraya research promotion scheme of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow, India. In addition, he supervised 11 M.Tech. students and many B.Tech. students in the areas of his research interests. As an Assistant Professor, he is also involved in teaching to B.Tech., and M.Tech. students. His teaching interests mainly include subjects related to Data Structures using C, Theory of Automata and Formal Languages , Compiler Design, Soft Computing, Machine Learning. In addition, he is interested in teaching Programming subjects such as Fundaments of Computer and C Programming, C++ And Python Programming. Prior to joining AKGEC, Ghaziabad, he was an Assistant Professor at Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida. He is Pursuing his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), New Delhi, India. His Ph.D. thesis, titled, “Development and Optimization of recurrent Neural Networks for Image Storage" involves multi-disciplinary research areas, namely, soft computing, image processing and biometrics. Mr. Jay Kant Pratap Singh Yadav also qualified various competitive examination like GATE(2009, 2010, 2014, 2017) and UGC-NET(2018). He authored many books like "Compiler Design" that are popular among the undergraduate Engineering students.
