Ongoing Research Supports
Characterization of the effects induced by transcranial electrical stimulation on the excitation-inhibition balance in the cerebral cortex.
The impact of cerebellar tDCS in local and downstream brain circuits: how much is neural activity modulated in the resting state and during sensorimotor processing?
Characterization of the neural mechanisms underlying transcranial electrical stimulation effects on awake mice. The main objective of this project is to determine, using electrophysiological, histological and behavioral techniques, the effect of transcranial electric fields on the activity of neurons in the awake animal.
