Javed Hashmi Biography

Dear friends

Let me introduce myself  me Javed Hashmi an artist resident of Meerut city ( Uttar Pradesh ) this is an Ancient city just an hour Travel 65 km away from DELHI ( Capital Of India ) I love to my city very much i am self taught artist. After 12th i took admission in B.F.A ( Jamia Miliya Islamia - Delhi ) but unfortunately i dropped my study becouse i could not adjust myself in Delhi atmosphere i felt uncomfortable and decided to go back to my home town.

My Father & Mother always helped me to improve my confidence they says one day you will achieve your goal, i am also fill with full of confidence.

My specialization is in Portrait paintings i can do much better than others, i strongly admit that no one can learn techniques of making a portrait painting without God's grace, i feel... i'm lucky because God's give me such a beautiful talent and one day want to become a world famous portrait artist.

Initially since 1994 i designed covers of novels ( Hindi Upanyas ) for most famous Indian publishers like Tulsi pocket books - Durga pocket books - Dheeraj pocket books - Manoj pocket books etc. i enjoyed to Making novel cover designs But with the development of Computer this line diminished and in 2003 i gave up this field though i experienced a lot with it, i got perfection in Illustration work as well as in portraits then since 2004 i stepped into contemporary art Field, there is a big scope where you can give what you can, an endless field i enjoy paintings a  lot and i am improving my painting work day by day, at present i am doing some creative work for solo exhibition and i'm also doing work on request basis like recreation of other artists, creative paintings, landscapes, animals, flowers, birds, abstract paintings figurative paintings for my daily Needs.

I am thankful to god who given me such a beautiful talent and i want to be a great artist like Leonardo Da Vinci.

M.F.Hussain, Satish Gujral, S.H.Raza, F.N.Souza, Anjolie Ela Menon, Thota Vaikuntam, B. Prabha, Manjeet Bawa, Rasik Raval, Yogendra Rastogi, Liyaqat Ali, H.R. Raja S.M. Pandit, J.P. Singhal.
