When students are learning about the Periodic Table, they should think about how these elements make everything around them. Students might be interested in the fact that they are mostly Oxygen, Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Calcium, and Phosphorus. A pie chart is a fun way to show this data. If I have the time, I will make a chart that is the outline of a person for the human body data. I would fill the outline from the top down. This way, you could zoom into a toe or two to show the elements that make up less than 1% of the total. That would make a pretty funny, yet also effective, chart.
