I have spent more than 21 years training military and law enforcement professionals on firearms handling, marksmanship, and tactics. I have had the privilege of developing and evaluating training scenarios for the United States military and foreign forces that focus on real world problems. In addition, I have been certified by the National Rifle Association as a firearms instructor and Chief Range Safety Officer. My time in the military has included six tours of duty overseas to Forward Operating Bases in Uzbekistan, northern and southern Iraq, Osan Air Base in South Korea and to the United Arab Emirates. I hold marksmanship awards from both the US Air Force and the US Navy and have trained members from all five branches. My skillset includes all aspects of firearm handling, defensive fighting techniques, personnel protection, antiterrorism, austere environment survival, self defense, close quarters combat tactics, and lead instructor/evaluator training.
In addition to my military background, I am an avid SCUBA diver. I participate in all aspects of the sport to include, spearfishing, wreck diving, cave diving, and extreme depth diving. I hold certifications from NAUI as an Open Water Instructor, TriMix Diver, Cave Diver, Decompression Diver, and Rescue Diver. I can provide instruction at all recreational levels as well as Technical and Cave Instruction.
I am a professional instructor with a proven history of adult education and training.
