The Jack Adams Memorial Hockey League is a 20-team Strat-O-Matic summer Hockey League. Results are submitted via e-mail. Each team plays 82 regular season games from May to September. Sault St. Marie has bolted to the top of the league standings after the first month with a 14-2-1 record. Four Shih-Tzu players are among the top 10 scorers in the JAMHL (Artemi Panarin, Connor McDavid, Auston Matthews, Matthew Tkachuk), while goaltender Juuse Saros is among the goaltending leaders with a 1.68 GAA and .936 save percentage. Richmond, Abbotsford, and Victoriaville are the other division leaders, with only six points separating Victoriaville from last-place Salt Cay in the Stastny Division.
Mark Stone scored halfway through the third period to lead Outlook to a 2-1 victory over Abbotsford. Jeremy Swayman made 34 saves for the Crusaders (7-6-3). Thatcher Demko stopped 33 shots for the Hornets (6-5-0), but Rasmus Dahlin was the only one to get a puck past Swayman. Brock Boeser had the other Outlook goal.
Marcus Pettersson and Matthew Tkachuk scored in the third period to lead Sault St. Marie to a 4-3 win over defending champion Champaign. Bryan Rust added two goals for the Shih-Tzus (4-0-1). Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Jeff Skinner each had a goal and an assist for the Toast (7-6-0).

Champaign defeated Minnesota in five games to capture their fourth Jack Adams Cup in franchise history. This marks their first Cup win since the 2009-10 season. Toast goaltender Linus Ullmark was named playoff MVP, going 12-4 in the postseason with a 2.08 GAA and .936 save percentage. For the series, Ullmark went 4-1 with a 1.94 GAA and .937 save percentage. John Tavares led Toast scorers in the series with two goals and four assists. Alex DeBrincat had a goal and three assists for the Nighthawks.
Minnesota rallied from a 2-0 series deficit win the Esposito Conference Final in seven games over Abbotsford, with the Game 7 win coming on the road. Jack Eichel set the pace in scoring for the Nighthawks with six goals and two assists in the series. Connor Hellebuyck and Pavel Francouz split the duties in net, each winning two games and posting a combined save percentage of .917. Rasmus Dahlin registered two goals and seven assists for the Hornets.
The Nighthawks advance to their third Jack Adams Cup Final in franchise history and their first appearance since they won it all in 2019-20.
The Toast of Champaign are champions of the Mullen Conference for the 2022-23 season, defeating the Sault St. Marie Shih-Tzus in a four-game sweep. The Toast outscored the Shih-Tzus 22-11 in the short series. Jeff Skinner led Champaign in the series with four goals and six assists, while Linus Ullmark put up a .913 save percentage. Artemi Panarin scored two goals and three assists for Sault St. Marie.
This will be Champaign's seventh Jack Adams Cup Final appearance in league history, but its first appearance in eight years.
Sault St. Marie went out to a 3-0 series lead against Oakville in their Mullen Conference Semifinal series. The Beavers won the next two before the Shih-Tzus finally closed out the series in Game 6. Connor McDavid led Sault St. Marie with four goals and six assists in the series. Leon Draisaitl set the pace for Oakville with seven goals and three assists. Sault St. Marie advances to meet Champaign in the Mullen Conference Final.
