In September 2012, I started my final internship at WCVB-TV Channel 5.
From start to finish, this internship was an amazing experience.
Everyone at the station is amazing, including the reporters,
who are easy to talk to and are there just as much as anyone else to give you advice or just to have a conversation with.
This internship was packed with a lot of information and I learned a lot, but also was a lot of fun in the process.
The internship included, but was not limited to:
ENG Edit
ENG Receive
ENG Trucks (Microwave / Satellite)
News Photographer
Master Control / Air Assist
Robotic Cameras
Audio
Floor Director
Technical Director
During my internship, there were a few highlights along the way:
Met two Boston Celtics: Chris Wilcox (#44), Myself, Jeff Green (#8)
When I went out with the News Photographer Tim Geers (NEiA Professor and WCVB Staff),
I was lucky enough to go out on a story about these two Boston Celtics who both had open heart surgery, only months apart.
Studio B at WCVB for a Holiday Promo Shoot
One of my days at WCVB was spent in Studio B helping as a lighting assistant for a promo shoot for WCVB.
The shoot included helping make sure the lighting was correct,
as well as helping with anything else that was needed to make sure that the shoot would go smoothly.
The shoot included a few children and the Grinch from "How The Grinch Stole Christmas".
Election Day / Night 2012

Boston
The largest event that I helped WCVB with was the Election Coverage in November 2012.
The day of the election was very long, but a great experience.
I helped the the WCVB staff make sure that the outside camera shot
was working and making it back to the trucks on the other side of the building.
Unfortunately, because of the high security on hand for the day, I did not make it upstairs into the venue until it was over.
