Characters

Xerxesian Chronicles has many characters but the main one is Xerxes. The stories are mostly from Xerxes' prospective. Xerxes learns about most of the other Characters as well has the world he is in though his interactions with them and so do the characters that interact with him learn about Xerxes. Xerxes usually pairs up with at least one other character.

Characters

Xerxes

Xerxes is the main character of Xerxesian Chronicles. He is an experience and skilled warrior who has fought in many battles before the events of the Sword of Ahura-Mazda, but this does not mean his fights against the Astarts are easy as his enemies are many and some of them are just as skilled as he is. He is usually mildly happy when he is not fighting but get annoyed when Ato'ssa tries to get him to like her in a special way. He is driven to kill Astarte in order to reverse her curse that turned the Jamesos Realm into a desert. He is liked by many girls who annoy him as Xerxes does not like them back. He resembles the hero of old and hence he has the same name , Xerxes.

Ato'ssa

Ato'ssa is the princess of the Jamesos Realm. She has a crush on Xerxes and likes him a lot. She tries to get Xerxes to like her but he always rejects. She doesn't like this and this makes her sad but she gets over the rejection very quickly. Despite her annoying him. Xerxes still cares for her as she is his friend sometimes letting her sleep over at his house. Ato'ssa also cares for Xerxes sometimes giving Xerxes equipment to help him with his quest. Ato'ssa will try many things to get Xerxes to like her. Xerxes also tries to get Ato'ssa to stop liking her in that way.

Astarte

Astarte is the main Antagonist of Xerxesian Chronicles: The sword of Ahura Mazda and Astarte's Challenge. She is a goddess that wanted to conquer the Jamesos Realm so she turned it into a desert, but after a million years Astarte has yet to defeat them. Astarte's empire is has been slowly rotting but she is still confident of victory. She prefers to use other people and even leaders and people other nations to do her dirty work. She is mostly calm but if her plans go horribly wrong she can lose her temper and get angry. She is willing to use anything that can let her defeat the Jamesian and Xerxes.

Bardaiya

Baraiya is an Astart lord responsible for the Astart controlled areas of the Greater Jamesos Realm. He hides in a palace in the sands that can only be revealed with a location tablet that he accidentally lost. He is responsible for taking out the Jamesians and the Knights of Ahura-Mazda as well as dealing with any rebels and insurgents. However he is only pretending to serve Astarte has he secretly serves a dark master who has plans for the Jamesos Realm who gave him immortality in return.

Miruki

Tesipiz is a knight of Ahura-Mazda who is sent to get Xerxes to obtain the sword of Ahura-Mazda in order to kill Astarte. On the way he meets up with another knight of Ahura-Mazda Volkara. Tesipiz has high expectations of Xerxes but is jealous of Xerxes being a girl magnet one of them being Volkara. As he interacts with Volkara who likes Xerxes.

Chonzuka

Riwatu is a Haapitu girl who was climing the power ladder of the Ahrite Zrama but the Ahrite Zrama where destroyed by Xerxes, Adgilia and the Aratashan Zrama. Because she was a low-level commander, she was forced to flee because she was saw as a part of the Ahrite Zrama and would of been executed. She fled to the Orodian Mountain range. She hates Xerxes because before he came and destroyed the Ahrite Zrama, they where on the verge of victory agenst the Aratashan Zrama. She joined up with a necromancer Shuumen and she became his right hand woman.

King Darius

King Darius is the king of the Jamesos Realm, he is Ato'ssa's father and he commands Xerxes to go on quest and missions to help protect the Jamesos Realm and weaken the Astart empire. Despite Ato'ssa complaining about Xerxes rejecting her, he knows that she will quickly get over it and try again. King Darius like his arch-nemesis Astarte tends to use others to do his dirty work. He entrusts his daughter Ato'ssa's safety to Xerxes which allows her to more opportunities for Ato'ssa to get in Xerxes' pants. This might be a deliberate move of Darius as a way of adding Xerxes' good genetic traits into his family line, but he never lets Xerxes know about it.

Lakatinu

Lakatinu is a ryuutu warrior who fights for the Astarts and is Bardaiya's girlfriend. She sees Xerxes as a threat when he goes out and collects keys to get to the sword of Ahura-Mazda. She ambushes Xerxes and Tesipiz but is defeated. This makes her angry and she tries multiple times to kill Xerxes. She is driven by her anger but Bardaiya likes her and doesn't want her to die, so he is cautious of her, while she wants to destroy Xerxes , she knows when she is defeated and flies off, to fight another day but she can't do that for ever.
