Jaclyn Hennessey Ford, PhD

I am a research assistant professor working in Dr. Elizabeth Kensinger's Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience Lab at Boston College. My research uses behavioral and neuroimaging methods- such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI)- to examine how individual subject and task-related factors can influence mechanisms that support rich memory retrieval. I am particularly interested in understanding how healthy aging alters these memory processes, leading to specific pockets of preservation that may be harnessed to improve overall memory performance.
