Introduction

The Evaluation of the 2019 IWSLT Workshop focuses on two official translation tasks:

• Low Resource MT of TED talks from Basque to English

• Speech Translation with two sub-tasks:

  • Conversation Translation: Translation of telephone conversations including generation of clean translations

  • Multi-modal translation: Translation of How2 videos from English to Portogues

Training, development and testing data for each task are freely available to the participants.
