We work with the International Writing Center Association (IWCA) to support graduate students who are current or aspiring writing center administrators and scholars. IWCA-GO also seeks to create stronger connections between graduate students and professional writing center administrators. Thus, IWCA-GO provides its members with the following:

• Mentoring with scholar-professionals across various institutions

• Networking with other graduate students across various institutions and organizations

• Professional development experience in organizational administration and service at the national level (i.e., workshops, webinars, presentations, etc.)

Anyone is welcome to join! We encourage people who have a stake in writing center administration and scholarship, especially graduate and post-doc members of IWCA, to join and participate in IWCA-GO.

Please attend scheduled meetings and events. Members are also encouraged to submit topics and presentations for professional development and workshop topics. Find out more ways to get involved by reaching out to us at go.iwca@gmail.com

Nope. However, our members are highly encouraged to also join IWCA, which requires membership dues.
