Since 1993, Paula has installed and measured, in several regions of the country, trials and permanent plots for some of the main Portuguese forest species - eucalyptus, maritime pine, and stone pine.

Spacing trials: eucalyptus, maritime pine       

Shoot selection trials (coppice): eucalyptus

Thinning trial: stone pine

Litterfall trial: eucalyptus

Resin permanent plots: maritime pine, stone pine, scots pine, black pine 

Natural regeneration evaluation trial: maritime pine

Bioenergetic plantation: eucalyptus

Permanent plots: mixed stands (Sintra)
